Isn’t it true that anniversaries and birthdays have more meaning as the years add up?  There’s more to be thankful for and more memories to be cherished. I am filled with gratitude looking back on our church growing closer as a community and also growing up in the Lord.  Christ, who is the head of this church has been faithful to us indeed. During this special time of the year, let us not only look back but also look forward and see what we must strive for.  I pray that as we continue in the journey, the gospel of Christ will strengthen us in our faith (Heb. 13:9) and allow us to love others generously (1 Tim. 6:18). May we be filled with a stronger faith in Christ and a love that can only be found through Him.
