Dear Crossway Family,

The book of Joshua is the story of God’s calling of His people to a life of total devotion.  We see this from the beginning alway way to the end.  When God calls Joshua, the demand is that he obey God fully and “not turn from it (God’s Word) to the right hand or to the left” (Josh. 1:7).  

In the last moments of his life, Joshua reaffirms his total devotion to God by making this declaration to Israel, “as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD (Josh 24:15).  We see in Joshua a picture of God who is worthy of our all.  I pray that this series will give us more faith and desire to live a radically devoted life.  I look forward to our journey together.
