“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth,” says the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 3:6.

Those that serve with our Children’s ministry experience the joys of seeing young people growing in faith and obedience by leaps and bounds. We witness our kids losing themselves in worship,  watch them take a bible truth to heart, or watch their jaws drop when they learn something amazing about God.  There are also Sundays we are called to the faithful, difficult, and sometimes the slow work of “planting” the seeds of the Word and the gospel. We explain the lesson, wait to see how it marinates with them, praying that they remember some truth when Monday comes.

This passage here in 1 Corinthians encourages the church that God gives the growth and we are called to be faithful to bear witness to him no matter what sort of Sunday it is, or no matter who plants, reaps or harvests.  

At Crosswalk we are gearing up for the biggest event of the year, WALK THIS WAY VBS.  We need multiple planters, reapers and we will wait for the harvest.  This event extends an invitation to you, to the church to serve with your children ministry.  You will be a first hand witness of God working in the lives of the youngest ones at church….and have a blast at the same time!
